Cool Miniatures Mancha, especially the world war one examples.  I wouldn't mind writing an article on them for the blog at some point if you don't mind.  That and if I can figure out how to do a decent yellow I might add some more and paint them up as a Spanish army.

By the way, this is also my first experiment with Siflor tufts and flowers.  What do you think?

I think that they are amazing! Where did you get them?

Again, thanks for all the positive feedback about the minis and my paintjobs.

I wouldn't mind writing an article on them for the blog at some point if you don't mind.

That'd be fun.

Following archangel1's advice from the thread below, I purchased them from Scenary Express.

Very nice :). Have to post some of mine up now I've got a decent camera.

Please do, Greywolf.  Feel free to post pics in this thread, if you wish.  (Although I suspect the more Hinterland threads there are, the better for me.   ;))

Smashing. Sorry to be distracted by things on the periphery, but what are the flowers made from? I love the look of flowers on bases, but don't know how best to make them. Can you buy them, just like other basing materials?

As Argonor said, they are also Siflor.  I bought a flower variety pack, which comes with flowers in about six colors.  The Scenary Express website shows what they look like in the packaging and how to use them.

By the way, I bought the Siflor buffalo grass variety and am finding many of the tufts too large to use.  Is this true of all Siflor stuff, or did I buy the wrong item?
