Interesting link, thanks! I don't think my local PBS station ever aired that.

I have spoked , by e-mail, with PBS people projecting for the DVD , it should be on sale at the end of this year.
I have no other opportunities to watch it.

Since we are discussing PBS' frontier-era documentaries, have you seen "The War that Made America"?
http://www.wqed.org/tv/specials/the-war-that-made-america/

Done by my local station, it is truly excellent!

These are also good, though not quite up to the same standards.

yes Aaron, I have already bought "the war that made America" is very nice,
and some others dvd taken from other sources;
by the way I have  found a series about the F&IW, one chapter was on King William's war, it seems a Canadian-Quebec  production, did you have notice about?
there are some parts on the blog of Ralph "Flintlock and Tomahawk" http://flintlockandtomahawk.blogspot.com/.

thanks Aaron, I appreciated very much, I'll keep in mind.

I have a friend close to you, in Leicester, on Genesee river;
I'm doing reenactment of F&IW;
I'm planning to go to Niagara this July for the big reenactment, I could have been in the natives group, but I have a wedding on 3rd July of ones of my best friends , and I must attend.
did you like reenactment?
sorry for the OT  8)

I did try reenactment for a season or two as a member of the 60th Royal American Regiment. I did enjoy it, but I just do not have the time to do it, especially now with a young son (he will be three uears old one month from today). Right now the only re-enactment I get to do is scenes from Toy Story. I get to be Sherrif Woody to his Buzz Lightyear! :D

I did the Niagara reenactment once. It is a beautiful place to visit!

Champlain in America looks interesting, thanks for that Piero  8)

Flintlock and Tomahawk is one of my favourite blogs.
I too bought the War That Made America as soon as it was released on DVD, very enjoyable.

I would also recommend set 1 of - Canada: A people's History

I have done some reenactment in Uk in the last years,
dressed as a CB/native
is very difficult to found people interested here in Italy.
my dream is Niagara, but probably not this year.
If i could make the trip to USA I'll try later this summer, end of September there is a nice event in Ganandogan, Seneca reconstructiopn village, about the visit of LaSalle.
