Balgorg!
« on: 18 May 2010, 10:34:29 PM »
Here's a golden oldie from the distant past (1988, to be precise); the imaginatively monikered Balgorg ('...the hardest, the most evil, and above all most powerful of the demons,' according to the fluff).  Just needs varnishing and the base detailing...

Comments appreciated.

Hehe; I have to admit I was actually rather inspired by your top-notch paint-job on this demon chappie some months back (just as I am inspired, though not in a painting sense, by your ladies  ;)), although mine is obviously not of the same impeccable standard.

He is quite the archetypal dungeon bad-ass, isn't he?

Very good Funghy-Fipps! How tall is he, compared to a regular 28mm dude?

Thank you very much.  Actually, I've been admiring your own excellent work from afar for some months now!  In answer to your query, he's a shade under 70mm from foot to wingtip.  Here's a quick photo with a mini you might recognize for comparison:

Thanks! =) Hard at work (or hardly working) with some zombies right now. Or well, actually I'm at the office filling out TPS reports and enjoy meetings regarding KPIs, test coverage and such delicious stuff... =(
