SI, they are nice, but on the large side. I initially planned to use their Brit and French regulars, but just found them a little too big to match up with my Conquest and Perry stuff. The civilian / horror stuff is the same size.

You probably already know about these, but West Wind has a nice small set of semi-suitable townsfolk in their headless horseman range and they match up better IMO. http://www.westwindproductions.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPath=2_20

Well, Aaron, that is a most helpful post.  Thank you.  :)

Just to clarify, the Blue Moon civilian and horror figures are the same size as their Brit & French Regulars.  Damn shame that.  :'(

However, on the upside I hadn't heard of West Wind and so that link is mighty useful.  I plan to use the settlement I am (slowly) building for pulpish horrror games and so I will need more civilians.

The size seems to be pretty consistant throughout the Blue Moon ranges. It has to be said that the integral base contributes substantially to the apparent difference in height though. You'll notice the other figures in my photo are on flat steel basing. I have some other stuff based on washers and the difference is much less noticeable.
