I'm awaiting my machine guns to arrive. In the previous photo you will see the two kneeling seaman which are from the machine gun pack. I'm also utilising some of the command figures from the Asien Korps as additional Officers/NCOs. I've requested from Leroy to do a doctor (Sanitation) for me using the German officer from the German Naval command set pointing and using a soft cap from the officer of the Asien Korps with cap in cloak. I hope to have him up soon.

Wow, you have enough there to crew the Emden! I wish I had a Leroy Simpson!  

(I too am awaiting my German Sailor HMG, though from the manufacturers rather than the painters. Unusually for them, Brigade are dragging their heels.)

Hi Folks, I've just taken a photo of my latest German Naval MG additions to my collection painted by Leroy Simpson. I've used some Brigade Games German Asien Korps and had them painted as German Naval officers etc.

That is a very impressive assembly of German mariners.
Given the fact that you typically need around 10 'native' figures against one trained and well armed Colonial soldier, I'm assuming that you also have about 1,200 African figures to take on this lot?  :wink:

Hi Captain Blood. Actually they are not for fighting natives, only Europeans, Indians, Sikhs, Japanese and Bitish trained African soldiers during WW1.

There will be some Masai, Rugga Rugga etc as scouts.
