Killer Clowns!
« on: 10 June 2010, 07:38:15 AM »
Title says it all, really  ;)

I want to make a travelling Killer Clown gang for post-apoc/Nuclear Renaissance (imagine the vehicles  ;) ).

Comfy Chair has a really psycho one that I might use for the leader of the troupe.

I remember to have seen others, but not where (I particularly have an image of one on a monocycle sporting some weapons).

Suggestions, please!  :)
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

You missed a chance to get them for free @ GLAM! I brought a pack as a give-away.

The Jokers? May have to get some of those, too.... rather expensive, though, and I fear they won't fit too wele with the rest... They are very 'realistic' compared to the comic-style of the others. But nice....

Darn!  :)  I hadn't read the NR rules by then - I actually brought a printout and read most of it in the evenings at Doomhippie's house. My decision to make a Killer Clown gang formed later.... actually while I was assembling my Gorkamorka fort and pondering about how to paint Gorkamorka Orks as muties for NR  :D

I think my two main projects this summer will be Strange Aeons and Nuclear Renaissance, with a flavour of WWWII mixed in. Should keep me busy.....

Eureka make the clowns on unicycles. I have a set if you would like to make me an offer for them, as well as the Grenadier/Mirlton ones, all are from an unfinished project and will probably never get painted :)

I might - just now I'm gathering information, as I have a few things to pay this month (and paint) before I can start this project for good....   :)

There are also two in the Horrorclix range.  Jester, from the first release, and the Cannibal Clowns, from Freakshow.  I have them both and they are pretty good for CMG pieces.  Paints not bad, not too bendy, sculpts are good.  You can get them pretty cheap too.

Jester

Cannibal Clowns
