Yep - the packs are designed to give an 'average' (whatever that means now-a-days) weapons load out per fire-team of four.
For that reason you generally get an M249 for every four figures, and one fireteam was given an additional M14 (other than that in the support set) as these are being used increasingly to increase a fire-team's 'reach'.

Oh - excellent pictures Commisar ... saved to the 'reference' file  :)

Not really, there's one per four man fireteam in real life. It would be really irritating to the average punter if they had to buy extra packs of SAW gunners.

Can't a man have his dillusions of 10 man teams with one LMG...

You could go back to playing WWI, WWII, Nam, I mean if you still want to play 10 man US 10 man Squads. Weapons Squad doesn't have any Saw's, but usually has at least two 240s....With a 2 to 3 man team, then you start to add, Medics, RTOs, FACs, FOs, Interrupters, Attached Female searchers....the list go's on
