Just wanted to say hi! (and do a little propaganda)
« on: August 08, 2006, 09:30:40 PM »
Hello all of you guys, this is my first post on this very nice forum, I am really impressed with the conversions, battle reports and articles posted here, and will do my best to live up to the high standards!

When I have the chance I would also like to do a little commercial: Darkson designs is a small company that recently started a line of very nice miniatures for their new pulp World War 2 game, check out their website, which also has a nice forum to it: http://www.darksondesigns.com/

Great to see you here  8)

I hope to see more of your projekt soon.

I saw the army list for the test games, about 6 figures each.
GERMAN LIST

Mad Scientist
German Officer
2 Wehrmacht
2 Emaciated Troops

American Tech List

Officer
Robot Trooper
Mechanic
2 GI's

American

OSS Agent
NCO
Sniper
2 GI's

The games we have played so far have been very fun all have been Objective driven games not just a kill your enemy gamer. So people who have signed an NDA start thinking about what you will use as proxies for these miniatures for play testing.

That is pretty ok from the size, because I have no intention to paint up hundreds of new figures.

I bought yor german soldiers and I like them, but do you offer separate
weapons, which look a little bit more "german" ?

I know no more than what it says in Darkson's web shop, which dosen't seem to have anything like that. You should try asking Robert (The Darkson/guy in charge) think his e-mail adress is somewhere on the site.

I've had several of the Darkson Design minis for some time....haven't had a chance to paint them, but they are fantastically sculpted.

My only complaint is that they are VERY close to a true 28 mm scale, which is fine in its own right, but really looks odd next to my other 'heroic' sized minis....Not a big deal, but I was surprised how small they were when I got them.
