Another one for ITHAQUA, again in a more elemental form:

Iron Wind Metals, 01-031, sculptor unknow (old Ral Pharta)

Can you tell I've been hunting the web looking for a mini to represent that northern Great Old One?

Arghhh!  I missed getting the mag! [insert Looney Toons *&^#%!!! here].

Another one for ITHAQUA...Iron Wind Metals, 01-031, sculptor unknown (old Ral Partha)...

This is Ral Partha's 01-031 / 02-533 Elemental Daemon of Air by Steve Saunders.

Nice Ithaquas, guys... and you beat me to the Reaper avatars.  Those two figs are definitely a bit too ferocious for the Wendigo race.

Okay, now I've got my mother of Nug and Yeb to order...

Shub-Niggurath, The Goat with a Thousand Young, The Black Ram of the Forest with a Thousand Ewes
(Lesser Other God/Outer God by CoC RP Game editions, Great Old One by August Derleth)

Blackball Games' Book of Fragments Miniatures Line resin "Dark Young" (over 200mm long) ($60.00 US)
Sculptor: Jason Hendricks   Concept: Brian Snoddy   Painter: Jessica Rich
http://shop.blackballgames.com

Sculpting Mods: none, but...
WARNING: This resin figure has brittle tentacles!  Take care not to break them when you remove the model from its bubblewrap, and store carefully!

Debut: Lovecraft's revision of "The Last Test" (1928).  Expounded upon by August Derleth, Robert Bloch and Ramsey Campbell, this entity is never described in Lovecraft's fiction, though his fiction invokes the name in spells.

”“Something black in the road, something that wasn't a tree. Something big and black and ropy, just squatting there, waiting, with ropy arms squirming and reaching… It CAME crawling up the hillside… and it was the black thing of my dreams – that black, ropy, slimy jelly tree-thing out of the woods. It crawled up and it flowed up on its hoofs and mouths and snaky arms.”~ Robert Bloch, “Notebook Found in a Deserted House.”

WARNING: This resin figure has brittle tentacles!  Take care not to break them when you remove the model from its bubblewrap, and store carefully!

I've received mine... but shipping broke the tip off one tentacle and I snapped another off just removing it from its packaging.  :(  Hence, the modified post warning.

I'll modify this post later with a new entry.

When I cast long thin pieces of resin, I cut and drop a very fine piece of wire into the piece, so later, should it "break" it stays on, a dab of insta glue to re firm it up. Its an extra couple of steps, but well worth it to me.

Good tip if I ever do my own casting.  Doubt it would be cost effective for the caster of this tentacled horror, though.  I just thought I'd warn people to be careful with this model.

And now, for something atrociously silly...

Li'l Cthulhus (Great "Old" One... or is it Great Youngun?)[/size]

Reaper's "02983: Familiar Pack IX, 'Lil 'Hlu  ($7.99 for the set of 6)
Sculptor: Unknown   Concept: Unknown   Painter: Alison Scheirman
http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Cthulhu/sku-down/02983#detail/02983_G

Sculpting Mods: none

Debut? Was he ever this young?  As a youngster, Cthulhu probably debuted in a comic such as http://www.hello-cthulhu.com/?date=2003-12-01 "Hello Cthulhu":

”“I a god of an unknowable evil. There are countless civilizations which have fallen beneath my horrible might.  But in all my years I've never been so cruel to the universe as to produce an offspring.  What unspeakable beasts are you?”~ Li'l Cthulhu's famous last words to the kitties, OR8, "Hello Cthulhu", by Devon "FrogPlague" Tackett.”

Or...

Maow Miniatures' "Little Monsters on the Beach" range 'Tulu with Shovel (2.5 €)
Sculptor: Vladimir Junger   Concept: Unknown   Painter: n/a
http://www.maow-miniatures.fr/Gamme_P%27tits_Monstres.htm

Sculpting Mods: none

Kinda makes me wonder if that was Dagon's (stolen) sand castle shovel... or maybe Cthulhu was burying something... gads... too fetid for even him to eat.  [shudder]  Perhaps it was Sanrio's "Hello Kitty."  Cthulhu with a hairball?  Bet that was hard to wipe off all those tentacles.

Here's another snapshot of Cthulhu's child-like (?) mind:  http://www.goominet.com/unspeakable-vault/vault/3/Cthulhoo/ "Unspeakable Vault (of Doom)":

“Gods' amusements: throwing bones through non-Euclidian dimensions.”~ caption under Vault 8, "Unspeakable Vault (of Doom)," as Cthulhu plays with a Hound of Tindalos, by F. Launet/Goomi Studio.

My score for these entries: 2 x 2 (neither is my first entry for Cthulhu)

Anyone got the actual dimensions of this one? I'm doing Strange Aeons in 10mm & wondering whether this would be good for that scale?

Actually, you'll find a comparison pic in this thread:
http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=25437.0
The reaper Cthulhu is about the same size, a tad bigger maybe. You might want to check Kusharan Tentacle god, since it has been designed for 15mm.

Thanks achab - that Khurasan one is quite nice, but a little over-emphasised maybe on the sculpting? Looks a little kind-of overblown - some of the detail is sausage-like somehow...hmm...

It's also way more expensive than the Mirliton one  ;)

I could always have a go at conver-sculpting my own one of course  :)

Hi there, I'm a huge Cthulhu-freak, and  I'd like to know if someone has already ordered and received the Godling kit from Strange Aeons, I'm not sure if it's worth it or not.

Here's my last work about the Khurasan Octopus God :
