Not really sure who makes them, they are just marked 'Made in China'.  They were 20p each from a toyshop and stand about a head taller than most people minis.

The next stage of the project is to build a bigger board, I've got a 2'x2' jungle which is fine for .45, but I need more room for the Hunters to maneuver as tests show Quatermain and Queen Victoria are getting chewed up too much when the hunters are so close to the prey.  :)

Got it, I'll have a look though and see what I can do about putting together a webpage.

Cheers.

The cool thing about "Lost World" settings is that your dinos can be of a totally unique evolutionary strain.  Lately I've been turning to toys as well instead of just going with some mini what with the price of metal these days.

For pulp fun, they don't need to be accurately scaled for 28s, the bigger the better for some of them. :)

Charity shops, jumble sales and smaller toy shops seem to be the best places to find cool dinosaurs.

Asda did a pack of 5 surprisingly good dino's for £2.99 I think. If I knew how to insert pictures in these replies I would have included some.

I meant to say Tesco, my bad. :-[

Here are some WIP shots of the Dino with Howdah.

It's a slow job as I'm distracted by all kinds of other projects, but it's finally starting to take shape.

It's going to have more lines attaching the platform to the beast, a canopy roof, Ladies having tea in the back, space for hunters near the front and hopefully a driver on that front seat.

The howdah itself is built from balsa wood.  Nothing was measured when cut, it's all done by eye to add to the 'field constructed' look.

The Dino came from a charity shop, it's base is an old CD.

The Ladies, who you can just about make out in the first picture and the hunter are from Foundry.

Very nice idea - it makes a nice change from steam-driven safari transports

Tamiya makes some nice velociraptors, pack of six in separate poses, in 1/35 scale, which to me are perfect because of the discovery of the much larger variety in California (I think?) They also have a nice line of other dinos too.
