Any painted examples of Pig Iron Productions minis?
« on: June 28, 2010, 11:21:03 PM »
I've always wondered if anyone uses these minis.  I like how they look (though I haven't made any, yet).

Anyone care to post their painted examples?

Loads of photo's over in pig iron's gallery matey take a look, also a number of paintjobs have been posted here over the years so a little search would be good too.

I've already seen those.

I'm looking for more - especially the System and Heavy Trooper types.

How is the quality of those minis?

To be more precise and respectful to the artist:

Yeah, sorry about that. I was in a bit of a rush to leave the house this morning.

I painted these up as a hostage rescue squad/swat team.

Hey Nick,

That hostage rescue squad looks really nice.

Really have to buy some of these minis one day...

They are nice figures and easy to paint. The separate heads is a great idea, lots of variety.

Haven't done the trooper types, but have done some of the rebels and ferals (and have some more to do!)

Very nice, cleanly cast, characterful figures - and very easy painting.
(By which I mean some figures are a pain in the arse to paint, some are an absolute pleasure, and most fall somewhere in between.  These were definitely a pleasure  :))

This thread is starting to make my resolve not to buy any Pig Iron minis to become a quite shaky.

Damn they look good painted up, and they'd make a nice little Flying Lead squad...

*sigh* guess I'll be bowing to the inevitable then  :)

Lise and Si have created some very nice sculpts so I suggest you throw resolve to the wind and get some!
