Antenociti Governance of Technology
« on: 04 July 2010, 10:30:37 PM »
Picked up a couple new miniatures from Antenociti. Great models, a little fiddly as far as construction of the models.
Remind me of the Infinity line.

Both miniatures come with separate arms, thin and delicate. The male has the gun already attached to the right arm which makes it a 3 point pin. Both minis come with two right arms with different guns, two styles of weapons.

Very clean scupts enhanced by your smooth paint!  Nice looking figures.

These are lovely figures, but very slender. I was sorely tempted to get some when they were launched at Salute, but figured they'd just look too weeny next to my Copplestone FW forces.

Patrick - any chance of shooting a size comparison shot of these alongside a couple of your Copplestone figures, just for reference?

They do look more "natural" in their proportions than Copplestone, but I bet they would fit in perfectly with Hasslefree.

Yes, although Hasslefree tend to vary quite a lot - some are very diminutive, others less so...

We need comparison pics dammit!  ;)

Are they metal or resin?

Yes, you're right. I hadn't noticed before but there can be quite a variance. They are still "stylistically" close enough for all but the most rigidly "heightist" 28mm gamer and I'm happy to have different size figures in my skirmish games anyway.

We need comparison pics dammit!  ;)

Hell yes!  lol

Hope this helps. The figures are metal.

Here is another comparison: Hasslefree: Copplestone: GOT (note figure is crouched down ;)) Infinity: Copplestone (slightly higher basing)

GOT is spot on with Infinity, but look great with all manufactures.

Thanks for the comparison pics both. Really helpful.  :)

Height is clearly not the issue. The stature is very different. I'm sure that's not such a problem to most people.

The best match looks to be with the iKore figure...

Great paint job! Always nice to see my work painted. Love the grimey base too. Sorry about the fiddly arms though.

I reckon you'd make a lovely job of these girls too: http://www.barrule.com/jeds/sci-fi/GOT%20bits/bikers.jpg  ;)
