it's a navy

here is a small submarine that I started last Christmas.
do not tell my wife, but the base of the submarine is a decoration of the Christmas tree that I shamelessly stole and cut ...
the result is much more than decoration satisafaisant and then nothing prevents the hook this year for Christmas  lol lol

Can't go wrong with a good boilerplate grey or VSF brass...

Or perhaps mahogany coloured ?
Wooden subs with brass fittings can look quite eccentric.

That sub is the bee's knees!  Excellent work!

What are the parts taken from, other than the christmas tree decoration?

What about something like this, a weathered copper colour:

Very nice indeed. I'd go with Overlord's suggestion for a colour scheme.
Don't!

That looks really good.

You have used the Decoration really well, that's the perfect shape. The detailing is magnificent.

You should definately paint it according to the image that 'Overlord' posted.

An inventive use of Christmas tree decorations, very well done.

I would also suggest a Bronze/Brown colour scheme.  Apply Verdigris or a green wash once you have finished.
