Images from the WWI game at Historicon
« on: 16 July 2010, 09:02:56 PM »
Joe Puzzo ran the Contemptible Little Armies game at Historicon and as I was running my own game at the time, so I did not get many photos. It was a slight alteration of the Battle of Romani. Here are some of the photos.

The game board set up. All terrain was supplied by Miniature Building Authority. This is looking from the Allied side of the board toward the Central Powers.

The Central Powers forces. Starting from the left you have Arabs and Kurds, then Turks in the center and Germans on the right.

A close up of the left flank.

These are the ANZACs and Brits waiting for the attack.

British HMG team on the roof and armoured car on the ground hold the center of town.

Kurds and Turks advance on the ANZACs who have fallen back and you can just see one of their models on the extreme right.

Indian Lancers keep the Turks pinned in the buildings.

Australian Light Horse Mounted and dismounted slug it out with the Germans.

It is indeed. We wanted an armoured car for the Germans. All the rest of the figures were from Brigade Games.

Next time let me know, I might be able to provide some prize support.
