Greeting and Aloha from...the Far North
« on: 21 July 2010, 01:40:33 AM »
Greetings Gentle Folk!

Synjin here, though it should be St. John, but the other way is phonetic for my fellow colonials.

Anyway, I've been gaming since I got my little white box with three little tan books...which I think makes thirty five years.  (That's scary.)  I switched to miniatures when I realized that I didn't have time to properly participate in role playing anymore (And, I can't pass up a spaceship game to save my life; curse BFG!).  I play the usual big name stuff, and am immortal due to the impossibility of painting everything that I own.  However, I truly love off-beat games that have a strong narrative feel and a whimsical nature.  Thus my love of GASLIGHT in all of its variation.

I can usually be found in the Great White North (...no, no, farther north and west than that one), but like all good Alaskans (for the last 200 years) I wing my way to the Southern Islands whenever I can afford.  Friends here in the islands pointed me to this forum, and it looks like a great place to discuss and steal...I mean share gaming ideas.

Your Humble Servant,

Synjin

Welcome stranger from the north lands.
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Greetings.
I don't know whether to be a good example or a horrible warning.

Woo, another native!

I was born on Elmendorf AF base and lived in Nome for a couple years.  That counts for Nativeness, yes?  It counts for Nativity, at least.
