Are the helmets just standard and filed down or are they conversions as well?

Eagles filed off, you can just make out one or two on the helmet and one on the chest, but very nicely executed and painted.

Eek! I was going to say how much I'd love to get some, but I'm just having a traumatic event thinking about the price..... :(

Beautiful figures! The only one I'm slightly dubious about is the officer with the cap. Not because of the quality of figure or paintwork (which are both superb), just the silly GW notion of officers wearing markedly different "come and shoot me" clothing/kit.

They are lovely figures, though and would fit very well into a "hard SF" universe.

I thought the sides of the helmets were filed down as well, but it really looks like only the wings & skull has been removed. Still they look slim, not as wide as the unmodified...
