Yes 1/48th is larger than 28mm (although for some figures, not that much!!) but of course the sensible idea is to start gaming in 1/48 with small squads

Yes Yes, I have an obvious bias.. 

As for the sarge and the 50 cal, hes an American super soldier to fight Projekt X... his specially modified .50 is no problem..  Once hes cast we will probably do a conversion or two for different weapons.
