All nice (of course) but really like the elf the best, painting and mini.

Agreed. The elf is the fantastic. However, the skin tones and highlighting on the dancer are well done, making her a close second for me.

"A couple of wizards or Orctraders got the blues"  lol  OT it looks like you have been experimenting with deep rich blues, greens, and reds since the Vampire Prince.  Really like the blues.

Really nice. I like your way of painting, the colors are not so much over the top but look really clean. And Ral Partha is just one of my all time favourite companies. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for commenting chaps.   :)

The blues on the Wizard with the crystal ball are actually Reaper Master Series Triads.  Well, once bought you need to try them out, don't you.   ;)  The blue on the other Wizard is a dark blue with an extreme bright blue highlight, then washed with very diluted black ink.  (Need to try these things, just to see what happens.  ::) )

I think my favourite is the Ranger... dunno exactly why... but the greens and reds are very nice, too. Just yesterday, I contemplated what a green/red colour scheme would do to an 18th Cty uniform....

Agree with you. The ranger looks the least flamboyant but has so much... I don't know... style? to him. Very convincing color scheme and painted in a no-nonsense way I find absolutely fitting.

Thanks.  :)

The ranger is a beautiful sculpt.  Clean, simple, elegant lines with enormous character in the face.  Although I loved painting them all, after the Elf Warlord the ranger was the most enjoyable.   :)
