Ghouls! Ghouls! Ghouls!
« on: August 16, 2010, 05:15:04 PM »
Hi guys!

As a newbie who has yet to decide on a set of rules I was wondering if I could just ask a 'quikie'?

Being a big fan of the Lovecraft story Pickman's Model and having just read Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath I was wondering if it were possible to play a Ghoul 'army' in Strange Aeons? Would obviously be looking to include Ghouls as well as Nightgaunts and possibly pre-Ghoul Picman himself. Would this be possible at all?

Lurker lists are built dynamically with each game - you select models to match the Threshold point total.  Ghouls are fairly inexpensive, so can generally be used for pretty much anything save scenarios that require you to field a single large "monster".  The specific list you're describing could be constructed effectively around the 25-30 point range, which would be used to fight a moderately experienced Threshold squad.

Keep an eye out for our in-development Cult combat game though - I think it may prove right up your alley here.  ;)
