WWII Autoblinda AB 41
« on: 18 August 2010, 11:02:10 AM »
Hello LAFers ;)

It's been a while since I was spamming here so time has come to change it ;D
Recently I managed to paint my very first wheeled military model - Autoblinda. Painting model was so much fun I'll surely get another model soon!
And scale 1:48 vehicles can be used in Necromunda or other post-apo 28-32mm games :)

The base Plinth Country stuff :)

I love that. Great job on the chipping paint and weathering in general.

Great work! :) Love the weathering and muted colours.
Any good tutorial suggestion for a novice such as myself?

Nicely done! One of my favourite armoured cars of the period, although it always looks like the turret should be facing the other way.  The long rear end is far more streamlined than the front.  Of course, with dual steering positions, it could be driven both ways.  I pity the poor guy that was nominated to drive it backwards, though.  The position is extremely cramped, judging from the photos I've seen.

Not really - I always try to keep the paletter limited and it does the trick.
I want to paint the model below:

and I can try taking step-by-step pics. I only have to get new vehicle base to the store :)

Agreed - the car look like out of this world but that's probably what brought my attention :)

That would be ace! I could use some good tips before I paint my Crusader.

A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/
