Maybe they don't like money.

My guess is that the old models were discontinued once the moulds had worn out, and there were not enough orders coming in to justify the expense of making a new mould.  Either that or they wanted to do something different.

We have the previous incarnation of that large guard tower, and it assembled and painted up very well.  The pieces fit together so well that I left one wall of each level unglued for interior access - they come out easily when I want them to, and stay snug in place otherwise.  Brilliant model.

I am thinking about magnets for roofs and levels. Just a little extra to hold them. Thoughts?

I am not sure it is necessary - on the other hand, it wouldn't hurt.  I have not played that much with mine - need to set up some games where I have an excuse to drag out.

Thank you guys for your nice comments :)
As for the old models, some will be re-released, some will not. We will let you know when the time comes ;)

We have a sneak peek of our current project for you - a Town Gate! For this Christmas we decided to do something really special. The model will be massive and highly detailed with fully operational gates. It will be released around November 15.
This is just a "work in progress" picture of the part of the building. We still have a lot of work to do.

The trouble is, of course, is what use is a town gate without town walls and guard towers... ?
:D

So the question, is: will there be more?  :)

That looks very promising.  Anyone know when the Resin anniversary is?  (Who am I kidding?  We're getting this.)

Take a look around the big cities around Europe, Richard. The town gates are manywhere the only part of the walls which remain.
