Found some interesting Victorian( steampunk) buildings from Ziterdes.
I was wondering if anyone has got them and if they are any good?

They seem a little expensive but when you take into account the time to scratchbuild they aren't that bad ( i think)

I get one with the roof as the one in the last picture. It is very clean casting and has good detail in the exterior. No bubbles or imperfections at all.

The interior is flat, with details in the floor (tiles) and walls with the interior windows sculpted. They say it is easy cut the windows off, but I disagree a little. The walls are thick and I think it would be as easy to cut them respecting the frames (at least for me  8)).

Each floor is separated. Perhaps I would like a little more height at each floor.

I think it is a good purchuase and I am a happy buyer.

Ah!

This is a great find. I have some of their other buildings, but I had completely missed that they'd done victorianish. BRilliant.

I can only second the comments about quality.

Looking through their home page it doesn't seem that all the buildings in these pictures are available to buy?!

I like their stuff.Nicely detailed and the best thing is it is light weight.

Keep meaning to buy the pyramid type ones.

Very nice but out of my price range at the moment. Something to bear in mind though.

Not only that, but the apartment building disappeared off of their site.

Not only that, but the apartment building disappeared off of their site.

I had email contact with Ziterdes yesterday, and they have some problems they hope to resolve:

Unfortunately I got information form the production this week that the tools of the apartment houses #12200 and #12201 are totally nagged. Because of this both items will not available before mid of November 2010.

In further discussion however, it appears they have plans for a couple more buildings in the range including a bank.
