Desert Troopers
« on: 27 August 2010, 01:49:27 PM »
Hi All,

Some pictures of a model to share.

28 mm to the eye (ish)

Equipped with a Tri-sight gas mask and a long barrelled pulse rifle

There are another 9 on the way and also a mount with rider which should be finished tomorrow.

Cheers

WW

I always wonder why someone in the desert would wear a gas mask? I can understand covering your nose and mouth, and wearing goggles, but a gas mask seems like overkill. Of course that's just my opinion. It's a spiffy looking model though.

Really nice, my only very slight query is shouldn't the back pack be just a bit higher on the back  ???
But very nice otherwise

I think it's great and the backpack looks spot on. The pack itself rests on the hips which is exactly where the bag should be. Underneath the bag is the sleeping bag, but that shouldn't go on top of the hips as it doesn't offer support in carrying.

There's going to be a mount?!  Please tell me it's something other than a horse (not that I have anything against horses).

The mount isn't a horse....

These have a new owner (just need to finish them now!).

Will be going to mould makers next week.
