night horror chess set!
« on: 02 August 2007, 05:25:12 PM »
hi all, i'm new to the forum and am in need of some advice. i'm currently building my own chess set around a gothic horror theme and was wondering where i could get a really good scarecrow model from (28mm scale). i've seen a couple that look quite cartoonish but i'm after one that looks a bit more sinister and dark. any help greatly appreciated. cheers. :?

oh, and how about a good frankenstein model too. are the westwind scarecrows 28mm scale? they look quite small.

I like the variety in the color. Each one is different in its own right...I will try that on my next batch.

I posting the reference of my westwind scarecrows in case you missed them Silverdevil.

thanks for your help guys, gauntfield is really cool, not so keen on ragged jack though. one more question, i still need a decent frankenstein model and some sort of evil clown, any ideas?

I have only picked up the reaper one and the westwind vampire wars one. Both are pictured on the forums

I am sure others will know of good frankenstein monsters

They are on larger bases as I use them as part of a 28mm Hordes of the Things army: "Hammer Hordes of Horror"

the site was great!!!! the manor house is fantastic and I really like the fact that you had a consitant theme in mind. It's nice to see some creep and well made trees. How many fence blisters did you have to but to get that setup?
