Lovely models, Hagen. Great choice of colours and very effective shading.

They are very nice models. no idea what Kobolds should look like, but these are spot-in for me.

I could use these as troglodytes in my SciFi universe, as well as the obvious fantasy applications  :D

Fantastic paint job, it really makes them look so old school!

Love the Otherworld stuff but I can't get into a new (or should that be old?) field at the moment.

Much resist!

Resistance is futile!  The Otherworld Miniatures (Late) Summer Sale has just started, 20% off everything until the end of September. ;)

Those are just too cool. I've always been wondering about them, seeing them beautifully painted has helped me to come to an important decision: MUST HAVE!!!!

well they're still pretty expensive, for the quality of the minis. i love the poses, but the mini is pretty simple!

i love your painting, that's amazing!

And now I'm reminded I have to paint those up soon.  I won't do as lovely a job as you did, but thanks for the inspiration!  They are very nicely done, and very characterful models, too.

Col. Tubby, it's not a new thing, it's a side branch to your current project!

Sangennaru, after all the extra stuff stuck on so many models, the plainer ones are a refreshing change to me.

Hi there.
More monsters for my dungeon crawl project: a kobold tribe this time (otherworld minis). Tiny little buggers - but a pleasure to paint...

Cheers, Hagen

Sir-
I was wondering color formula you came up with for these kobolds and what paint line you use for your technique. Excellent work!

Wonderful wee models. I'm a huge fan of the old school doglike with lizard aspect Kobolds...the ones I've seen in what little modern DnD I've looked at are just small crocodile/lizard men which I think is very boring.
 :)

I've partially shifted in my games to using some 15mm feathered "raptors" converted with bits of armor and weapons to make them a bit more unique myself...plus most players don't recognize them instantly
