Very nice.
Em dezembro de '81
Botou os ingleses na roda
3 a 0 no Liverpool
Ficou marcado na história
E no Rio não tem outro igual
Só o Flamengo é campeão mundial
E agora seu povo
Pede o mundo de novo

Very nice. I've always really liked these figures, but it took so long to finally release all the several GBJ packs shown as greens at various stages (and I mean like three or four years), that in the end I couldn't be bothered to keep hanging on for them, so gave up. As ww2 figures go though, these are just about my favourites.

Plus I like Where Eagles Dare  :D

Very nice my friend.
May i suggest, a lighter tone of the tunic shade and if you agree, another colour for the down lip maybe ''pink''.
Keep them coming, you may ''convince'' me buy them.  :)

Ah, that's what I get for posting pictures of figures that are 5-6x bigger than the actual figure!? Seriously, when I was painting that I could have sworn the only black I left was the open mouth... but now that you've mentioned it... and I looked again under a magnifying glass... yeah... I totally missed part of his lower lip!? It's fixed now, Thanks!

As for the colour of the jacket I have only two reference pictures. One is an earlier war Gerbirgsjäger what has a much lighter tan jacket, but it's of a completely different pattern (button up, no hood). In another volume there's a later war plate with a smock that's a little closer to what this chap is wearing, but it's darker and looks like more of a grey-brown. So I kind of split the difference... trying to make them more versatile. Others I was thinking do in a light grey ("lichen grey") - almost whitish... Perhaps the rest could be in a lighter khaki/tan.

These guys will probably see more action in Pulp Adventure games; garrisoning a secret base in the Antarctic... or racing against the players to discover the secrets of the Elder Thing city... or something like that... who knows what sort of kit the South Polar Gebirgsjäger Regiment would have had...?

Did you use Nigel Thomas's "The German Army in World War II" (Osprey Publishing) as a reference? It has the two kind of jackets you describe in it. anyhow, I think that the jacket look good as it is.
