That sort of thing is actually what I had in mind for some of my Sea Elves elites. Though that has been stalled due to unavailability of the sculptor and uncertainty over the future of the range.
Fingers crossed that it all gets worked out then.  :D
"Peace" is that brief, glorious moment in history when everybody stands around reloading.

Coming soon to a The Assault Group Kickstarter near your home, the second Halfling Light Cavalry Rider option (to go with the roosters): mounted archers, sculpted by Juan Montaño.

The Little Cavalry Guys are OUTSTANDING, BEAUTIFULLY sculpted, AND each boasting an ample amount of character. VERY WELL & IMAGINATIVELY DONE!

If, like me, you've been waiting (im)patiently for the halfling rooster riders to be released, the wait is over and my friends at The Assault Group are launching them (as well as the back catalog of halflings if all goes well) through Kickstarter now:

I shall absolutely have to get a unit of those for Dragon Rampant. For which army, I do not know, but they are a must!
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Those are pretty awesome.  One thing that seems ambiguous though is the reward wording. For example, the "Main course" states you get "16 Roosters and Riders"... does that mean 16 roosters and 16 riders, or 8 roosters and 8 riders? I would assume the latter, as there appear to be 8 variants...

How many rooster variants are there?

I don't know, I'll check with Pete.  :)

Regarding rooster variants, the greens are up on my blog. There are 4 different bodies and 4 different heads, making for a total of 16 possible combinations.

By the way, the complete plump Halfling range is now available through the kickstarter thanks to the stretch goals.

I asked Pete and it's 16 roosters and 16 riders. There are 16 different riders: 4 command, 4 spears, 8 archers.
