This is so awesome. I always thought dwarves should carry pikes. Why hasn't anyone else thought of it?

There are definitely plans for some appropriate warmachines, can't say more at this time.

Yeah!! thanks for the bigger shots...you can really see the puff and slashy goodness now!  I can't wait to get some paint on a few of these guys!

I do feel I have to say that the shields are not what I had hoped...they seem quite thick...and I don't care for too much shape with my dwarf shields...round and kite are good enough.  But as you mentioned that they still need some tweaks I will reserve final judgment.

Actually, that is well spotted. I also found them too thick,which is one of the things that John is fixing now (he made them thicker so the shape of the hand could rest in the backside, but I agree it looks off, which is why this is being changed).

Shields will be sold separately (so you don't have to use them if you do'nt like them) and probably the round one will be removed from this sprue and added to a sprue of 4 identical round ones after casting, giving the choice between all round shields or all semi-triangular ones.

Absolutely wonderful sculpts. John's done such a wonderful job here. And looking very much forward to getting the chance for adding these to my growing Pickford Collection.
