Not part of the "official" range, I had this older (never released ) figure of John's put in a spare space in the mould, so it might see a limited release as a special edition "hors série". I've always liked this figure (and it's hedgehog companion which may make a future appearance):

Well, I got back mastercastings of the second infantry-set, which look great in the metal.

Here's a teaser to make you look.  ;)

Man I love all the separate heads...all fantastic and full of character!  With the plug in weapon models I'm also quite impressed...I was unsure how they would look with the sword and buckler...but now that I see them assembled they might be my favorites of the bunch!  Of course a couple with the pikes will look fantastic in the front rank of my Marauder Pike dwarfs.

Keep up the good work WK!!!

Cheers,

Blue

OMG!!!  I just saw the Pony Pistoliers for the first time.....and I leaked a little..... :o

I'm not too big on Dwarfs, but I'm big on Landsknecht, and these have to be mine.  Especially the pistoliers!

Awesome project WK!

I like them a lot too, it just makes for a very dynamic pose.

Okay, now that I can't get my hands on "Puck's Dance" - this is the second best thing happening :) Absolutely in love with Peaseblossom  :-* - a must for my still growing Pickford Collection.

And really don't know what to say about the second set infantry Dwarfs ....? Stunning, lovely, adorable, awesome ...!!!

And like Blue I'm surprised seeing how the sword/shield combo turned out. The Old MArauder plug-in dwarfs has never been favourites of mine, but can see these here very useful.

Looking so much forward start seeing some of them commercial available. Pictures can be so forgiving, remember? Much better holding stuff like this in your own hands - and fell for yourself ;)

A very small update, John converted a set of arms from the latest mastercastings to add the halberd option. These should normally be good to go directly in the productionmould without having to pass through mastermoulding first.

Two updates in two days time. Postman delivered a package from John 'Poshgoblin' Pickford with the for the time being last two additions to the core infantry (except for command figures of course) (elites will follow). These are conversions of the two plug in style troopers, bringing the number of variant bodies up to 4. They can be fitted with halberds, spears/pikes, sword and buckler, handgun or crossbow.

The one to the left is wearing a sallet with raised visor. The spear shown is a slight conversion (addition of the tassle), thus making an extra spear variant, just for the fun of it.

These will be sharing a mastermould with the Landsknecht Goblins.

Even more variety  ;D

Can't even imagine what a project like this must have costed you - but happy that some are willing to risk such money and follow the dream of creating their own army.

And judge by all the support, here - maybe not such a 'stupid' dream after all ;)

I'll be looking forward to 'waist' some money on these :-)
