And will all this also be Pickford's?

Yes, all the dwarfs will be his unless he does something silly like giving up sculpting.

You (or is it my bloody car :'() is draining my wallet faster than I can fill it :P

Yours and mine both.  :(

I uploaded another set of pictures of the dwarfs painted by various people (that aren't me).

Here's a couple small teasers:

Oh, and buy dwarfs!  :D

The new ponyriders have arrived and I've had a chance to play around a bit with them and tack them together. The pictures aren't the greatest, but will hopefully give an idea of the possibilities. They look a bit awkward in some of the pics, due to being tacked together instead of properly positioned and glued in place. They are currently all packed again and ready to go to the mouldmaker for mastermoulding.

First, the bits:

The two bodies with spears (two spear arm variants):

Pistoliers (two pistol arm variants):

The two bodies with swords (three variants)

 :-* :-* :-*

Get these into a production mould asap .................... please!  ;D

Certainly worth waiting for. Fantastic concept and beautiful sculpts with Spears and swords being my favourite. Love you, John - you are simply the best ;)

Oh, will any of them have a shield?

My favourite of the sword options is the one held horizontally, in a charging hussar style (sword 3). Couldn't not do one like that.

No, shields will come with the heavy cavalry later on.

Extremely  8) nice  :-* light cavalry but, alas, I am pretty sure they won't fit with my Der Kriegspieler dwarves (I am fairly liberal about size mismatches on humans - but these are dwarves :o  lol after all.)

Gracias,

Glenn

... normally I am not much into Ponys with dwarves, I am more the boar & ram type ... but these blend in quite nicely! They even seem to have beards!

cool!

now that is somenthing I could see my self buying- for no reason other than the fact they are cool- I can't think what I might use them for, but I still want them! I too am a big fan of teh old GW dwarfs, and I used to have soem kicking around somehwere- perhaps I can feel a warband comming on!

It took quite some time, but the Dwarf Ponyriders are now available!  o_o

They come in three different flavours: pistoliers, light lances or drawn swords. Heads and ponies are available separately if desired.

I call them light cavalry as opposed to full plate knights, but don't be mistaken, there's a whole lot more metal (and thus weight) in one pack of 4 ponyriderss than in a pack of 8 infantry figures. The downside is I couldn't discount them as heavily as the infantry when buying mutliple packs, but there still are some savings to be made.

You can find them here: http://whiteknightminiatureimperium.blogspot.com/search/label/All%20posts

The following codes have been added:
Dwarf Light Cavalry:
WKD-20: Dwarf Pistoliers on Ponies (4)
WKD-21: Dwarf Light Lancers on Ponies (4)
WKD-22: Dwarf Swordsmen on Ponies (4)

Mounts:
WKM-01:
Dwarf Ponies (4)

Dwarf Bits:
WKDH-03:
Dwarf Heads 3 (8)
WKDW-13: WKD-21 Arms with Spears (gloved hand) (4)
WKDW-14: WKD-22 Arms with Swords (gloved hand) (4)

I have been aware of these figures for some time, but only just now spotted this thread.  I wanted to take the opportunity to say, publicly, both how much I love these figures and how much I appreciate White Knight's generosity in making  them available to us.

Thanks. Originally the multipart aspect was due to the fact that I simply wanted a small selection for myself and so I had to make the most of the budget that was available to me. Sharing them with others has allowed to stretch that budget a bit farther and get more made.
