Just wanted to add, with, to, the quite vivid Space 1889 showing Martians enjoying 'hull cutting', I probably won't be so quick to ditch the blades. Certains, modify.

I like 'em. I was planning on using my old Eldar rangers (scouts) as martians anyway, so this would just add to that in a positive way.

I have to agree! The more previews I see the better are they suited for black martians IMO.
Just imagine the skin really dark, the Raider in dark red and all should be fine!

One slightly sad piece of news. The incubi ( the ones with the two handed sword/glaive things and horned/leering face helmets) models are going to be metal.

Still more than enough potential in the plastic stuff if it can be found for the right price.

Hmm I just might have to go with the Dark Eldar for Martian. Been using Kroot. But they could come from Venus. I'll have to see when the new models come out. But it's very tempting.

For me kroot have become venus parrot men, so much in fact I at times refer to them by similar name by mistake.

Not so sad for me, plastic, metal, no difference for me, both have their merits...
In addition, the Incubi with their strange horns are the weakest minis of the new line for me.
