loving the blue leather with gold!
Not sure why but gives her a slightly 30' Flash Gordon feel....
Not sure why as Im prety sure that Buster Crabe didn't look like that...

Really starting to come together, cant wait to see more....

You've hit the nail with the skin tone, fantastic work here. Blue and gold are winners, too - good choice. 8)
Apart from the somewhat strange sculpt I can't quite cope with her hair colour. It simply looks a bit too yellow. I myself find it quite hard to get blond hair right, but using 'bone' colours, at least for highlights, usually turns out better than lemon tones. Never mind, maybe next time.

OMG! I completely forgot she had wings!
All those shots of her painting in progess with not a hint of a wing anywhere, and then the final shots.... She had come together rather well, with the blue & gold against her skin tone contrasted by the dark wings... very effective combo...

I know what he means abot the hair colour, but then again, if the hair had been lighter, it would have been a very similar tone to the skin colour...and having that darker yellow.blond, contrasts with the blue very well... and as for the base.... those new bits a greenery are rather effective what?

A triumph sir!

I have heard, but not got around to trying myself (will do on my high elves), that Khaki is a good starting point for blond hair - working up with bone colours.

I do not perceive the hair on this mini as blond, though, more a light brown or 'straw golden'. I think I have seen girls/women with hair not much unlike this. It does not strike me as wrong.

But then, I live in a country with MANY different shades of light/blond hair, and my screen colour settings may be different from yours  :)

@ Basiliscus

Sadly I have already tried, photobucket removed the picture as it violates their code of conduct......

@ Mad Doc Morris

Thanks alot Doc.  I can see where you are coming from with the hair colour, however thats down to the picture, it is a dirty blonde colour to the naked eye, not sure why it has gone so lemon yellow in the picture. But you can only comment on what you see in the pictures provided.  I will have to let Col. Aubrey Bagshot see it in the flesh and comment on it as he lives sort of near to me.

@ Col.Aubrey

Senile dementia is setting in? Want me to put an order for some Tena Lady Incontenance Pants :P  I was thinking dark wings myself but Turrou suggested the ever so slight red tone to them, not sure if it stands out in the picture as the background is red but it works wonders when you see it in person.  With regards to the hair I will let you see her in the flesh mate so you can tell everyone how it looks to the naked eye.  Those dead leaves are absolutely brilliant and the poisoned ivy O M G best investment I have made in a while.

@ Argonor

Straw golden/dirty blonde was the exact colour I was going for a, pictures do make it look a little lemon though.
