I'm looking forward to this. There's some old scores to be settled.  :D

Tickets are selling, the Central Powers are amassing forces on the banks of the Paive ready to repulse the Entente or launch their own offensive.

Look forward to some more entries for a great days gaming!

What do you mean 'trying'? I was fairly successful last time.  :D

Yes, the Austrians and Germans threw themselves at the French, Italian and British positions repeatedly with dogged heroism :D

I am looking forward to the rematch and hope we can encourage some new people along to join in

Too bad it's so far down south (by train, that is). That and the fact that I don't have a battalion at hand. I'd love to have seen that.

Good luck with the event Rob. Hopefully 'someone' will take some nice pics and post them up here and elsewhere?

Pictures from the last event are online,

Chris, loan armies available, and people are coming down from Scotland and Yorkshire.

Theres a local train station 1 minutes walk from the venue, check our forum for the details. Get a train to Grantham and then the local one acrross to Nottingham just make sure it stops at Bingham- Easy. If your train goes to Nottingham, do the reverse although the bus service from Nottingham is excellent, even on Sundays..

Bascially, theres no excuse to sign up and have a days gaming  :D

Yes, I know! I'm still trying to use the excuse that I would have to go down on Saturday and stay at a hotel overnight because the first connection on Sunday only arrives at half past noon... That has killed several conventions for me. Sheesh, "first trains" on Sundays only leaving after 9am... I say, Beeching and that Thatcher/Major clique have a lot to answer for concerning the British railway system.

I'll really look into it. I do have an assignment due a week late, so I might not make it for good reasons, but if I could sort that out beforehand...

Just a brief reminder that this event is this coming Sunday, visitors are welcome and of course there will be lots of soldiers on the table, bitterly battling it out, and packs to buy  :D

After action reports will be posted on the scarab forum
