Hasslefree Alice
« on: October 04, 2010, 11:16:00 AM »
Another gorgeous sculpt from Hasslefree:

As Lewis Carroll almost certainly didn't write, 'What is the use of a figure without rules and supporting minis?' I know that there was a Frothers sculpting competition a couple of years ago along this theme, but can anyone suggest any in production minis that would match this Wonderland/Looking Glass themed sculpt?

I really like the base too.
Thats one seriously fat cat she is holding.  lol

No problems: constructive criticism is good! she does look a bit stare-y in the top pic, doesn't she?

Maybe its a look of pain, because the cat has just sunk his claws into her back....  lol

Good work on the paint job!

I'm waiting on the postman to bring me some Rosemary Series 33 Kolinsky brushes. I've got high hopes for them, they seem to get such reviews.

I thought it was just the effect of the halucinogenic drugs :~}

Always visualised the cat as more of a ginger or tortoiseshell, but haven't read the book so wouldn't know for certain.

That cat is brilliantly painted!
Alice seems to have found Catterpillars secret stash of special 'shrooms, but otherwise her hair, dress, etc. is really well done.
The base is just great, really compliments the miniature, love the flowers.
