15mm Fat slug monster - green
« on: 06 October 2010, 01:24:55 AM »
Want to share a photo of my second 15mm greenstuff mini.
Her name (Yes, it female :) )Thing from Abbys. This is mother monster who creates many bloodthirsty broodlings :)  :-* :-* :-*

This is original art from my childhood (I drew that at school).

This is second image from school. Here you can see male and female version. I call this art - Love  :-*

And more that TEN years later - greenstuff version:

Different angles of Thing from Abbys.

Thing from Abbys and 15mm Lasrburn range adventurer. As you can see Thing is 15mm to the level of her eyes.

Waiting you comments on this horrible Jabba like monster :) Because I am gonna make a Father from Abbys and Kids from Abbys!

These are more than Ten years old, so dont blame drawing style. Now I drew much better than these :)

Part1 - Kitten

Part2 - Child

Angry Thing

Azazel - her pet piggy (I am not going to sculpt him)

And please comment :)

Wonderfully disturbing. I can see potential for those in 28mm as well.

Nice comics, I'm not too enthusiastic about the sculpt though, I think the texture on the skin should be a bit more pronounced 8)

You have the sculpting bug :) I think that'll paint up pretty nice.

One thing I'd say is it looks like the eyes got a bit flattened. If you make some tiny putty balls and let them cure they'll retain their shape when pressed into the putty of the head. Then you could sculpt the eye socket around the ball. Looking at the figure now I'd probably sculpt a little bump for the chin and maybe work a lower lip on it... and some brows over the eyes.

Good stuff !!

I am sorry, is that some sort of idiom?

Yup, it means you've caught the knack for sculpting and it's getting stronger (better).

bug=flu=sickness=contagious

Yep, I agree!

Good stuff, quite funny.

I'd like one with it's tongue lolling out.

After one day, I'll finish sculpting brain octopod overmind :) Its a monster wich resembles a little bit (only a little bit) octabrain from Duke Nukem 3D . This will be my third 15mm sculpt and its most detailed sculpt I ever made (even in my plasticine chilhood.) I spend many hours (whole day) making it and int brain...
