More Quar - Partisans this time
« on: 10 October 2010, 04:59:31 AM »
Finished up a round of 8 partisans for Zombiesmith's Quar line. Also made some quick defensive thingamabobs that I can never remember the name for - look at that, the lastest issues of Wargames Illustrated did come in handy.

as always, more (if not better) pictures on my pbase:

Fantastic! I'm seriously loving this whole Quar business. I've been reading a load of the fluff on the forums at Zombiesmith and all sorts :D

I've ordered my first 15mm Quar this weekend (while flogging stuff on eBay as I am short of room) and would love to be able to get this range in the smaller size  :'(

Saying that though - I love the paint job you have done and the ground work is super.

I've been reading the rulebooks and the game looks really fun, and I should have reviews of both books soon. All of the images I'm seeing of the models show that they look great, in a unique sort of way, as they're actually odd looking creatures, but they're cool just the same. I'm still waiting to see some of the models first-hand tho to really be able to comment on the models.

thanks for all the comments guys.

I've finally finished up the latest batch of Partisans, including a nifty conversion of a Sept Gehn gunrunner and his escort.

as always, the full gallery is over here...

Considering current conversations this thread looks like it deserves to be revisited.

Brilliant work on those Quar…I especially that packbeast you have made. Genius!

I have been spending a lot of time researching Quar the past couple of days. Things that particularly inspire me and that I think others may find of use I hope to reintroduce given the buzz around the upcoming plastic Quar. I like the idea of others also benefiting from the time I am spending on this research. 🙂

These are excellent, I 've long admired this range of minis and you've brought them to life very nicely.

Now repeat with me:
I don't need to buy any Quar.
I don't need to buy any Quar.
I don't need to buy any Quar.
I don't need to buy any Quar.
I don't need to buy any Quar.
