I am curious of what you mean by "breadboard models". I suppose it is a cryptic translation of a Russian expression?

I really like the polish miniatures. It's a very original style but I like it.

The Asian buildings are interesting? A yurta, a minaret, a canopy of the dealer with melons and water-melons for example?

It was mentioned before... The building I miss most is a nice Orthodox rural church. The Hovel's model is good, but I really can't grow to like it much.

I agree I painted one up for a friend and I had to do a major conversion of the dome and ended up using one of the Ian Weekly dome from Trevor at Koritiani. But still it leaves something to be desired.

still waiting for my order from "Siberia - miniatures" , sent on 23/11/2010 hope it gets here before christmas
post has been bad this week since the post woman has stayed at home because of the heavy snow.

Yes, as you say, it is rather easy to get hold of goods from "strange" countries with even more "strange" languages.
Google is a great help.
I am sure, you will be happy with the two Polish books, good buys at a reasonable price, lots of pictures. And the one book in English.
You will have to wait 2-3 weeks until the books from Poland and the goods from Siberia reach you.
Nothing to do about that.
It is long way from the Chinese border to somewhere in Europe.
But the posts from Russia and Poland are reliable, so much I have learned.
Then you has to translate the Polish text, but again Google helps, even if it is not very good at Polish, especially when the Polish writer has a little special way of expressing himself. But with the text in the book about the Poznanians, the translation via Google goes rather well. And with a dictionary and when you has learned a few of the Polish military uniform terms, it goes rather easy.
Good luck with an interesting subject.

If yes will you be doing crew for it like the russian cerw ?

Did the polish army in 1920 use helmets or was it mainlly caps?

What Field artillery did the polish army have and what colour were they ?
