I still decided that I would make the banners that are needed to figure out my lines. Once upon a time there will be red ...  ;)

That's no problem...I paint very slowly!  lol  24th Samara-Ulyanovsk Iron Division, and 9th Rgt., 29th Rifle Division, 3rd Army especially would be nice, but I'm sure you have others as well.

I finished work on the horse Basmachi.
Another six riders - three ordinary warriors and command group: kurbashi, standard bearer and "NCO".
All riders are in the photo (and these figures, and is already sold), headwear (turbans and tyubeteika), which are characteristic for people the Emirate of Bukhara (Uzbeks, Tajiks). There are two separate sets of heads - in hats (Turkmens), in caps and hats - Kyrgyz & Kazakh. Headgear - the main differences in the costume of the Central Asian nations (the same coloring matter coats).

 Enjoying a photo:

These are great, cuprum. I am so much looking forward to painting these basmachi with Turcoman heads. Incidentally, a friend on military attaché mission to Kazakstgan brought me back one of those traditional felt hats they apparently still wear casually. It looks a bit like a medieval Burgundian bard hat.

I have these Basmachi in "his own personal army" preparing to serve in the army of the Emir of Bukhara. Therefore, they will have hats and coats the color of the Uzbeks. It's pretty diverse, colorful and festive colors.
Turkmens have thin coats of red and yellow stripes in the main. And the big black (rare - white) fur papakhas.

The Kyrgyz often wear their caps and now - especially in rural areas and on public holidays:

Hi,

Finally my first Basmachi were painted (after Tons of other lead), the dinamics is eccelent.

The only problem was the alloy, a little bit fragile (and the horses legs are very thin) but I was able to repair them.

I'm very satisfied of the result, superb miniatures.
