The blue collar patch with wezyke (the white or silver zig-zac ornament) for infantry is first introduced from September 1919.

The figures can almost be used for any unit using the different heads and the uniforms can be in almost any brown, grey or khaki tones.
Few units managed to get the new model 1919 uniforms unitil the war had ended, only the 1919 distinctions and unit markings were speedily introduced.

In the near future prepares for molding and casting a large series of figures on the Soviet-Polish war - cavalry, signalers - telephone operators.

Next infantry Caucasian Cossacks - plastuny (scouts).

It was only after - a new addition to range Basmachi - dehkans - the militia / krasnopalochniki. In this series I am planning do another machine gunners-Basmachi and headquarters.

Great to see these women figures.  Just the thing to game events from the excellent movie, Battle of Warsaw, 1920. Lots of good painting info there.


This is a great plate for painting. Can you point us to the original source. 

The women's legion figures seem to  all be in a more standard flat top round peak cap.    Will there be optional heads as shown in the  picture.  In the movie the women have flat peaked cap, low on head.

Now to just figure out how to order these figures.

The first illustration is from a Russian article on Polish uniforms in the period (You can find the article on the Siberia site).
The second is from Polish series of uniform postcards.
The third is an illustration from the internet booklet made in connection with the film Warsaw 1920, made after a contemporary bw photo.

The Kobietas were tried kept out of the hard fightings, but for instance when Gay Khan attacked with his cavalry corps in the North, they were put in and fought very bravely with heavy losses.

More heads? I am sure Khmorg is willing to make any loose Kobieta heads, he likes especially to make heads.
All the different Polish headdresses were worn by the Kobietas, as you can see from the pictures below.

Head for the women already have two types - peaked cap-matsievka and quadrangular cap-rogatyvka.
But I have not had time to cast additional sets heads for women. I will do this in the near future.

Soon be ready first sets of the Polish cavalry.

Good news on the heads.  I have an ulterior motive for wanting the hat in following picture as it is close to what the BUF women's group wore.

I'm wondering, the in the second-last picture, are those actual POWs, or are they POW camp guards? I can't tell if they're inside or outside the fence.

It looks like the camp buildings are on the other side of the fence, but I suppose the photo also could be just after a release.
