Return of Son of Yoggy
« on: October 15, 2010, 02:04:53 PM »
Got the resin bodies back from the casters and had the metal tentacles waiting so I assembled another Son of Yog-Sothoth model. The body was slightly re-mastered before casting, mainly the addition of eye-lids on the eyes. The models now has an extra 3 metal tentacles to go with the 6 from the original kit. ( I'll be making the tentacles available seperatley for anyone wanting some for conversions etc).

Thanks for looking

Iain

I'll have to get this this time round Iain, very nice.

You thinking of selling the tentacles in a pack too, great for gribblely conversions.

Count me in for another one sold!
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

Yeah they kind of turned into limited editions now. Shame I only kept one for myself :) The metal tentacles on the new one are pretty cool though, it's good to be able to bend and twist them into different shapes.

I should have the model available this weekend. I want to do an assembly guide before it's in the shop so I'm creating a blog for stuff like that to go. It's really easy to put together for an experienced modeller but they guide might be useful anyway... cheers for the comments :)

Someone on TGN asked for a scale shot so I took some and put them on the blog. Here's the picture with the Son of Yoggy model to give an idea of it's size.

cheers
