Closest I can think of is the game hunter in pith helmet the Perrys did for Citadel. Is it Warrior in Glasgow that have some period dwarf ranges? I can think of Romans and German Stormtrooper types - Wessex has some of those too I think.

According to Col Marbles,
http://marbles.frothersunite.com/vsf_other.html

there are at least a couple of options - 1st Corps and J&T.  Both links seem to be dead, unfortunately!

The J&T line is the one carried by Old Glory now... it seems...

Have some, I think, though I'm never sure of what 'home service' indicates about the uniform.

Unfortunately, got second hand, so have to see if it's on the bases, perhaps later today.

Part of the inspiration for my 'Dwarf Germans', don't you know.

Not dwarfs, but Brigade Games in the USA has 28mm Gnome War.  Here is a link to pith helmeted Gnomes;

The 'Home Service' uniform was that worn by the British when in Europe - basically the dark blue helmet with spike rather than the plain white of the 'Foreign Service' uniform. I don't think there were any other differences (but I'm sure someone (Plynkes ::)) will come along and point something out).

Although, when the Army adopted Khaki in the later Victorian era, those on 'Home Service' remained in scarlet uniforms right up to the 1900's.

Ah, a bit of info I thought I knew, from another LAF thread.

Oh, my gosh, could I STILL be trainable?

Er, no...

Thanks for your patience!

My 'Brit' dwarfs have no spike.

(but I'm sure someone (Plynkes ::)) will come along and point something out).

The Royal Dwarven Fusiliers never wore the spiked helmet as part of their Home Service Uniform (though they wore the tropical helmet on campaign*). Being a fusilier regiment they wore the raccoon-skin busby instead.

*Except for the Boer War, they wore slouch hats during that conflict. Though there are a couple of photos showing individuals in Glengarry caps when they famously tunnelled their way into Mafeking to break the siege.

The Dwarves (or, more correctly) Morlocks of the Combined Atlantean Rifle Brigade (a regiment raised by the British in 1890 among underworld Atlanteans during the ill-fated 'Scramble for Atlantis' of 1890-91) wore pith helmets, even though it was argued that Atlantis (being the most south-western of the Scilly Isles) was sufficiently 'home' to wear 'Home Service' kit.

Yes, all right, I'm using the Old Glory 'Dwarf Britannia' range too...
