* At last I'm in / Elysiums Organ! Now finished.
« on: October 19, 2010, 12:53:21 PM »
My first LAF competition.
Last night after some prompting from a freind (having been inspired by Gamer Macs Zeppelin thread) I started my entry.
I am currently planning to build a Gothic/Steampunk/Burlesque theatre for games of Malifaux and I intend to hane various swappable elements (Pipe Organ, Scenery etc.) based on CD's.
So here is the start of my Pipe Organ. I took some other WIP photos on a mobile but am unable to upload them at the moment will add later.
The CD base covered in Balsa, scribed with a card edging and rivets made from Trimming studs off GW undead spear. Still need to miliput edges and sand, maybe add trap door.

The Organ, still need to add black keys to second tier and other fine details.

Placed on base.

I am off today so will finish adding keys (damn fiddly job) and build the bank of pipes at rear of base.
Any comments gratefully recieved.

Pretty much finished today, Just need to do some green stuff (I've run out, need to wait for pay day :'(  lol).
All the pipes were made from drinking straws, I was particularly pleased with the arcing electricity an top of the steam boiler. Now for some paint, a quick question can I place a figure or two in the terrain for the final pictures montage?

Hope you like, see you in the competition :D

Who is the female figure pictured, and from what company and range did you get her?
