Leopard 1 main battle tanks
« on: October 23, 2010, 03:35:41 PM »
The urge to tidy my cabinets made me paint some old cats which were originally bought for cold war period zombie games and had been collecting dust for quite a while.
Here come six Leopard 1 MBTs from the first lot in livery of the Heeresstruktur IV in the 1970s. These are marked as being vehicles from 2nd company, 153rd tank batallion, tank brigade 15, 5th tank division. They are my first attempt in using devlan mud wash and MIG pigments yet.
Models were prepainted delPrado collectibles in 1/60 scale.

Remarkable weathering. :) Great job on the mud clogging the tracklinks, and the attention to detail as per licence plates and other little markings set them apart, as usual.

Looking good.
I have also just began to use MIG Pigments, I like them a lot, IMO it speeds up tank painting tremendously!
cheers and keep on gaming, Agis - https://www.adpublishing.de
