Looking for an assist - swashbuckler weapons for Orcs
« on: October 29, 2010, 05:08:23 AM »
Here's the task, gentlemen. I am building as a side project an Orc pirate army to use for WH Fantasy, and I am using many of the various Orcy pirates and buccaneers that are out there - but I am having trouble finding muskets and flintlock pistols that are not grossly undersized in a GW style Orc's fist. Anyone have any good ideas?

There were some chunky blunderbuss type weapons that came out with the Gorka Morka sprues. They may be of assistance. I have the perfect one for you, but I can't identify where it came from. I'll get a picture for you soon.

That is one I hadn't thought of. Excellent idea!

Probably already considered these but it is worth a shot:

and

both located here:

I've got some of the freebooter figures and scale-wise the weapons seem like they *should* work, but I don't know what the comparative sizes of the orcs are that you have chosen.

A bunch of muskets and pistols come with wargames foundry's mercenary war orcs/ogres that are reallly chunky, but I don't know if you can get them as a separate order.
