I ordered both Strange Aeon books from Uncle Mike's a week ago and received them yesterday, I've put together a detailed review of the books themselves and listed the content along with pictures of it all (with permission from Uncle Mike's).
I figured I would do this since there is little information on this Lovecraftian ruleset to be found.

There will be a follow up on a rundown and review of the rules themselves around this weekend so keep an eye out  :-)

Painted the Scrawny One's blister today - I also wrote a painting guide on how to paint them the way I did, that along with more pictures of this blister can be found on my blog.

A collective "hi" to all the guys from the SoTR forum, nice to see you all  :)

Phil, yeah although Secrets takes up a lot of shelf space I still do other projects on the side as you might tell - and that's also why I've been low key on SoTR forums for the past months painting other models.

About that blog special, still interested in having you on - I'm scouting for more people at the moment and I think I've found them. Just need to contact and make arrangements with you all  :D

Nice purpley mottled look on those scrawny ones.

When mine come through I'll be torn between your take and einarolafson's ones re: colour pallet.

His were really damn nice, but I felt I needed to paint mine differently since they were to take part in the "Brush off" competition.

A few more West Wind models painted as decomposing braindead minions for my Malifaux and Strange Aeons games.
More pics from different angles and a group picture of all 8 can be found on my blog.

Not that exciting perhaps. Schedule this week is tight, but I hope I can paint up the Serpentmen and Formless Thing blisters soon. Got a 50mm base for the Formless Thing, it almost fits.

Thanks guys  :)

Here's the Serpentmen blister painted up, painted their robes to look like the "cultists" I had painted previously.

Pictures from all angles and group picture with the crossbow wielding cultists can be found on my blog

I've written a fairly detailed battle report as a follow up on my rundown of the rules to show how the game flows, some of the modifiers and special rules etc.

The mission generated was "Monster Attack" and a group of eager but rather ill equipped Treshold agents had to defeat the abomination – it would prove to be a desperate battle which ended pretty cinematically.

You can find the complete battle report along with pictures of the struggle on my blog:
