Gringo 40's american - mexican war
« on: 03 November 2010, 09:22:53 PM »
A couple of preview samples I recently painted up for Gringo 40's which I thought you guys might be interested in seeing if you have not already seen them

Have included the tmp news item by Ged Cronin owner of Gringo 40's

Sensational new range of 40mm high quality figures covering all units engaged in the Mexican-American War...... initial preview figures feature the illustrious American infantry... much much more to follow

The range is aimed at skirmish-level or grand battles like Bueno Vista........ conceived with a complete passion for detail and accuracy..... everything from Hales rockets to the Spy Company!!

I am having the whole of the Mexican-American War 1846-1848 commissioned (at great expense!!!) as a personal passion of mine, so all the various Mexican cavalry units will be covered... lancers, cuirassiers, etc and all infantry types.

Lastly heres a preview of the mexican infantry

Brilliant paintjob. And especially the dust on the trouser. When you see the paintjobs of napoleonics, you think it was a "clean" war...
Hope to see more
