Rorke's Drift Diorama
« on: November 07, 2010, 06:09:17 AM »
I fell in love with the Zulu as a kid.  I think they reminded me of the American Plains Indians.  As a result when I began painting 15mm military miniatures, it was natural for me to select the 1879 Zulu War as an area of focus.  I have posted a display of those figures in the context of the Battle of Rorke's Drift on my vanity website War In 15MM.  I hope you take a look at them at www.warin15mm.com/Rorke-s-Drift.html.  It's one of my favorites.

Stunning, absolutely stunning - loved the AAR pic. lol

If I may offer a slight wish, it would have been to have the main pictures after the frontpage thumbnails a size or two bigger. But it does not detract from the wonderfull set-up...

Thumbs up, and all that.
Best regards

Harry

Needs bigger photos and more of them.  But apart from that small quibble, absolutely brilliant.   :)

Good show! And what's more, you've painted the helmets as tea-stained, which is historically correct.
