UN Troops and stuff
« on: 07 November 2010, 04:27:27 PM »
Firstly a small contingent to guard important people and places in war torn Africa.

Then some reporters, missionaries and doctors for them to look after.

And some hostages.

All in 28mm?
A CANADIAN local hobby store with a small selection of historical wargames miniatures (mainly from Warlords). They also have a great selection of paint and hobby accessories from Vallejo, Army painter, AK Interactive, Green Stuff World and more.; https://tistaminis.com/

Great work! I particularly like the white on the M113, and on the scientists' coats. Did you use decals for the "UN" lettering?

If I had a nit to pick, it looks like the hatch periscopes are as of now unpainted. Please correct me if I'm wrong and just of poor eyesight.

Very nice!

The UN troops look very European to me - are they meant to be Swedes or Irish?

I didn't bother with the periscopes, vehicles aren't my thing :) The UN markings are decals I got from ebay. The figures are British but are meant to be generic troops, mostly they'll just be taken hostage and need rescuing.
