Those are a lot nicer than most of the Blue Moon/Old Glory line, at least going by that photo of the greens.

In my experience Blue Moon always looks better in person than on their packaging. I recognize M Monroe. Anyone know who the other 2 are supposed to be?

Looks like Pointy, the drop shouldered, pencil necked  but impeccibly  dressed sideshow freak and someone's Uncle Stan. Beyond that..... ??????  On those rare occasions that I can recognise an OG figure as being remotely human shaped I usually quit whilst I'm ahead. :)

I quite like Blue Moon miniatures. There catalog page doesn't do them any service, their inhouse painter is not very good.

One of them is Clark Gable but I don't recognize the other.

Better than the average bear ;D

Having painted 120 OG in the last couple of months I cannot be too critical of their figs but these are nice and if anybody else was showing them would not be questioned

The Hollywood Nights figures are from the Blue Moon Manufacturing pulp figures line, sold by Old Glory.  While I have a lot of the cheap Old Glory figures for mass battles, there have been some special characters produced for Chaos in Cairo and Sleepy Hollow that I thought were really good.  Also, the special characters sent out monthly to Old Glory Army club members were very good, on a par in many cases with Reaper. (I got some of the special pirate figures and one or two westerners.)

Blue Moon Manufacturing is another story altogether.  The box art and the pictures on the web at the Old Glory site, basically the box art for some of the figures, don't do them justice.  I bought the box of American colonials, not expecting much, but the figures are quite nice.  If you scroll through the various Blue Moon Manufacturing lines at the Old Glory web site, you will find many figures that are quite recognizable, expecially in the Western and Swashbuckling lines (Four Musketeers and Cardinal Richelieu and Rochfort in particular).  Many of Blue Moon's pulp characters are worth a look:

Anyone know how this Blue Moon stuff compares to Copplestone, Artizan and Foundry, sizewise?

The Blue Moon stuff I have is so ropy and irregular it's hard to say, but generally they're taller but skinnier than Copplestone or Artizan. One of the BM gangsters I own is about 7'6" in scale, which is just daft. The rest are saner, but the proportions aren't great.

My experience has been quite the opposite.  I won't buy any of those again.  They all seem to be pencilnecked.
Looks totally wrong to me.

Yeah, they look a bit hit and miss. I'll take a chance on the Hollywood Nights and maybe the Grave Robbers but not rest.

Cheers lads  :)
