Looking for good Indiana Jones and Shorty modeles
« on: December 27, 2010, 09:37:11 PM »
Hello!

I´m currently scouting for on models that could be used with the Strange Aeons rules but with a Indiana Jones theme.

I´ve seen the tread for Indiana Jones stand in models and there are some great modeles but was wondering if anybody has a good idea of what I can use for Shorty, Henry Jones Senior, Willie and so on. Ofcourse any other idea is welcome aswell.

The idea for the now is to use Nazis and tribesmen as cultist and Indy and the gang as Investegators.

Pulp figures, Stalwart Companions, may have some useful models.

I have this horrorclix figure, the two models can be separated and the kid is a perfect model for a young sidekick:

I'm sure there'll be some other suggestions.

Hope that helps.

There's also this Indy from Darkson. Problem is, you have to wait for a convention,  during which it becomes available again...

The Indy that Hauptgefreiter mentions is available.  You just have to ask for it.

There is the old TSR ones from the Indy box set.  http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~tpope/sol/tsr/images/5373.jpg But these ARE 25mm...

Also the Indy and friends from the old WEG Master system... http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~tpope/sol/west-end-games/images/47001.jpg He is a bit thin, but is very detailed. You REALLY have to look around for him...

I like the Artizan Indy, I added a whip to mine and it looks great. The sidekicks are a little harder. Pulp Figures from Bob Murch is probably your best bet.
I am looking for the following Deadlands minis:  Shotgun Thug, Lost Soul, Cleaners, Railroad Workers & Feral Dead. If you have any of these minis, or if you are one, please send me a PM.

Millmir;
I have several of the TSR Indiana Jones sets...unopened and still sealed. Unfortunately, the box does not say what TSR stands for. If you are interested, send me a message through here. I checked on eBay and they want at least $49.99 and up for them plus shipping and handling. They are very hard to come by now as they are out of production.

Or did a long time ago, anyway. Wizards of the Coast bought out TSR in 1997. TSR hasn't been involved since Second Edition. Just to clarify.

I didn't even know TSR had done Indy figures for the old RPG!

Nice set of figures covering the first two films - probably a bit small next to today's stuff! Be fun to paint though.

Mind you bet they cost a fortune if they ever turn up on e-bay!

I have Copplestone's "not Indy" and is WONDERFUL.

I didn't mentioned him, because I thought Millmir was asking for Indy's COMPANIONS.

Anyhow, bear in mind Copplestone's "not Indy" is 28mm to the eyes, and so looks a little small for the new OVERSIZED 28mm (some of them being 30-32mm actually).

Hope that helps.
